Fabian Hyland
Director/Principal Consultant
Whilst earning his degree in Biological sciences at James Cook University and The University of Miami, Fabian began his biosecurity journey as a volunteer keeper at an Australian wildlife park in 2003. In the 20 short years since, Fabian’s passion for biosecurity and determination to drive exceptional client outcomes have been recognised across the globe.
Highly awarded during his tenure on the Gorgon Project, Fabian has continued to provide that same level of excellence through to BSA. When not perusing international vessels with a torch in hand, he loves nothing more than going on adventures with his family.

Timothy Bredl
Biosecurity Inspector/BDM
Literally born into a wildlife park, Timothy comes from a family background with generations of wildlife experience. With his formative years immersed in animal life, he subsequently went on to attain a double degree in Zoology and Marine biology, going on to co-own one of Australia’s oldest still family run zoos with his father, Rob Bredl, The Barefoot Bushman.
Having such a wealth of experience in the domains of zoology, ecology and business operations, Timothy is the venn diagram overlap between biosecurity and business. Searching for fauna isn’t relegated just to site! Timothy enjoys getting amongst the deadliest of animals Australia has to offer!
